CAL INTEGRATION PROGRAM (CIP)
The CAL Integration Program (CIP) provides ICT
curriculum for educational institutions. The program is integrated into
the regular curricula of pre-school, primary, and secondary schools.
With this program, traditional learning is enhanced while students are
provided specific ICT skills and competencies.
What does CIP provide?
The program provides partner educational institutions
with:
• Integration of CAL innovative ICT education curriculum with
the basic core subjects such as Mathematics, Science, and English
• Instructional and learning materials package for educators and
students (manuals, textbooks, and Activity CDs)
• Technical assistance in acquiring and managing necessary hardware
and software
• Training for the faculty to become effective ICT educators
CAL EDICT PROGRAM
The CAL Education in Information and Communication Technology (EdICT)
is a complete courseware for educational institutions from pre-school,
primary, and secondary levels. It was created to address the schools’
inadequate IT programs and the growing knowledge gap among the students.
What does CAL EdICT provide?
1. Re-engineered computer curriculum for students
culled from internationally certified curricula, like the North Carolina
Public Schools and the European Computer Driver’s License (ECDL).
2. Educator’s manual that includes the yearly
plan, the syllabus, the course description, and the learning objectives.
3. Complementary student work text and activity
manual. Students and teachers can work alongside each other, to follow
guidelines provided using outlined topics.
4. Free training series for educators: IT teachers, and subject teachers
and administrative staff.
5. Licensed kids’ software and media kit
starter set needed in a specific year or level.

CAL LiFT (Learning ICT for Tomorrow)
In line with CAL’s advocacies such as ‘Education
for All’ and ‘Bridge Knowledge Gap’, the company supported
the Adopt-A-School Program of the Philippine Department of Education.
The program provides the much needed assistance and service to public
schools that are left behind in terms of facilities and equipment, quality
of education, and ICT literacy.
