> CAL featured in the year’s Biggest Franchise
Expo in the Philippines
Computer Assisted Learning (CAL) Corporation was featured in the recently
held 15th Philippine International Franchise Conference and Expo last July
6-8, at the World Trade Center in Manila, Philippines.
The Franchise Expo featured more than a hundred
companies, the biggest franchise expo recorded this year in the
country. With the theme, “Franchising… Key
to Nation-building”, the event brought opportunities for participating
companies like CAL to showcase their products and attract potential
franchisers while at the same time contributing to national development.
CAL set up a booth and exhibited its publications and books designed for
pre-tertiary students. The company also showcased its Online Learning Program.
CAL Assistant Vice President Josephine Medina-Manalad gave a talk on Online
Learning during the event. She discussed the importance and benefits of
Online Learning as an alternative to traditional learning methods.
The Franchise Expo was organized by the Philippine Franchise Association
in cooperation with the Department of Trade and Industry, Philippine Chamber
of Commerce and Industry and Philippine Retailers Association.
