What is EdICT?
The CAL Education in Information and Communications Technology (EdICT) is a complete IT courseware for educational institutions from pre-school to secondary levels. It offers complete series of books intended for three learning levels.
What are these book series?
Awakening series (Pre-school) for early childhood education presents a play and learn environment. Basic skills needed for computer use like mousing and keyboarding are introduced, while young learners enjoy computer activities integrated with fundamental concepts in Math, Science and English.
Exploring series (Elementary) familiarizes the learners with the different industry standard software programs for word processing, presentation and spreadsheets. Advanced applications are also introduced in this series.
Experiencing series (Secondary) is a selection of specialized ICT skills training programs designed for learners in the secondary level. This series provides its learners skills that are industry related and job-enabling.
The CAL EdICT textbook series are designed for students' continuous progress offered on a stage-by-stage proficiency.
